Cloud and self-hosted
Self-hosted Supaffi is the whole product. Cloud runs it for you.
Supaffi comes in two editions. Self-hosted is free under AGPL-3.0 and runs on your own server today. Supaffi Cloud runs the same product for you and is open to a waitlist.
What is the same
Every product feature works the same in both editions, and these docs apply to both. Nothing is removed from self-hosted to make room for Cloud.
- Unlimited products, programs and affiliates.
- Recurring commissions, holding periods, refund and dispute handling.
- The affiliate portal on a subdomain of your site.
- Self-referral detection and the Payouts page.
- Stripe as the payment provider.
What differs
Pages that only concern running your own server are in the Self-hosting section. Where another page differs on Cloud, a note says so.
Which one to pick
Self-host if:
- You already run a Linux server, or are happy to rent one and keep it updated.
- You want your affiliates' data on infrastructure you control.
- You want it free, with the source available to read and change.
Join the Cloud waitlist if:
- You would rather not run a server, updates or backups.
- You run several products and want affiliates to use one login across them.
Self-hosting needs
- A Linux server with a public IPv4 address, root access,
gitandopenssl. The installer offers to install Docker 24 or later if it is missing. - Ports 80, 443 and 3443 reachable, or your own reverse proxy on 80 and 443.
- A domain you control, for each product's affiliate subdomain.
